12. First aid measures
This section of the MSDS describes the first aid to be given in the event of poisoning or accidental contact with the product.
Styrene
• Inhalation
In the event of inhalation of vapours, take the person to a ventilated location.
If the person is not breathing, perform artificial respiration. Call a physician.
• Eye contact
Rinse the eyes with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. If the irritation
persists, consult a physician.
• Skin contact
Rapidly remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water.
• Ingestion
In the event of ingestion, rinse the mouth with water. If there are unusual
symptoms, consult a physician.
